Mr. Lee Glastal Myers, Jr., age 61, a resident of Winthrop, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.
He was born May 30, 1955 in Marshall, Texas. He was a long haul truck driver, carpenter and minister. He was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Church in De Queen, Arkansas and Church in The Wildwood in Winthrop.
Mr. Myers preceded in death by his parents, Lee Glastal, Sr. and Clara Elizabeth Stanton Myers; one son, Issac Myers and mother-in-law, Margaret Fross Miller.
He is survived by his wife, Susan E. Wilgus Myers; three daughters and two sons; Kristan Myers Kahler of Orre City, Texas, Lee G. Myers III, of San Antonio, Texas, Amanda Overturf of Nashville, Arkansas, Candace Myers Wolcott of Horatio, Arkansas and Andrew Bergum of Hector, Minnesota; one sister, Mary and (John) Overturf of De Queen; father-in-law, Bernard W. Miller of Shippenville, Pensylvania; twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Memorial service and dinner to follow will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2017 with Louise Haney and Alfred Thomas officiating, in the Church in The Wildwood for family and friends to celebrate his life.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
