You, dad and mom were the only three people I knew for my entire life. The emptiness created by you leaving is a reminder of how much a part of me you were. Trips to Arkansas will never be the same. Say hi to mom for me... Love you bro!!

Michael was a sensitive friend who loved the outdoors and the freedom it offered. Because of him, we have learned that nothing is more precious than life. Tomorrow is not promised to us, and thus each day should be lived to the fullest. With his fondness for life, he loved people and made those close to him feel that love, like Tiffany and David. Tiffany, his nurse, took care of him for five years and they were very close. They laughed together and had a very meaningful friendship. Tiffany and Mike would often watch movies together. She would often pick up his favorite foods for him at local restaurants. She was there for him through it all, up until the very end. In fact, the shirt that he is wearing above, Tiffany got him for his last birthday. He was so grateful to have her in his life. David was also a very good friend who took Michael to Red Lobster and the movies once a month. Mike enjoyed his friendship with David, and always looked forward to the times they spent together. Tiffany and David will miss Michael very much. Michael was a man of great character, whose judgement, humor, and friendly spirit brought out the finest in those around him. The influence of his life upon others is a flame that will burn brightly forever. Love, Judy

Dear Mike,
I wish that you were here with us. I miss our conversations over the phone about wrestling, the plans that Sebrina and I were making for our wedding ceremony though you wouldn't be there and the father-daughter dance would involve her dancing with the phone and you would be on the other line to Phil Collins' Take Me Home. I miss you calling unexpectedly when Sebrina and I had an argument. Our marriage has strengthened in large part because of you. I miss how you would make Sebrina and I laugh to tears. I wish i could have met you in person. You will forever be known to Jacob, Kaleb and Rayvin as "Grandpa Santa Clause". We all miss you so much. We all love you and will cherish every moment that we have had you in our lives. You are a great father-in-law and father and grandfather.
