I had the pleasure of meeting Jack back in 1988, while working for Norfolk Southern. Jack was a first class gentleman, but the first to call you out. Jack was so proud of his family and loved his church. Jack will be missed, but his life will carry on through his on events and experiences that we all were blessed to have shared with him.

I met Mr.Bennett one day at Buddy Love's barbershop. I learned he was from DeQueen,AR,and his daughter was a good friend of my sister Chandra Ponce. I wanted to learn more about my family tree,so he told me his brother Mr.Lonnie Jordan could tell me all about it. I talked with them both many times. I later became better associated with Brother Jack as we attended Christ Temple Global Ministries together for the last several years. He will be sadly missed but I know I'll see you again.Rest in Heaven Deacon Jack Bennett,Jr. I send my condolences to all your family and friends.z4

"You were a one of a kind, Godly, upstanding role-model for every man walking the face of the earth to follow. Your display of great character was genuine, sincere and heartfelt. Your roles as a father, grandfather, friend and ect. were beyond impeccable.
We had always shared a wonderful dialogue, gut busting laughter, and I always gained a smile from being in your presence. The memories of your words, jokes, your kind heart, charm and laugh will forever be branded within the walls of my mind, my heart and my soul."
Rest easy my dear friend,
you will be greatly missed!
And to Dawn Pegues, family and friends:
I know that your hearts are extremely heavy by the loss of this AWESOME man.
But please remember this as you heal,
"GOD HAS GOT HIM!!!"
I will be praying for you all...
Be #BLESSED!

My love and prayers go out to the Bennett Family. I have known Jack many years through his brother Melvin and my daughter Maria Shores. Jack was a very likeable man. He always had a smile on his face. Jack would laugh so hard over the stories my husband Steve would tell him. Jack was a man with great faith and love. Rest in peace our dear friend. We love you.
