Mr. James Terry Wax passed from this life on Monday, November 13, 2017, at his home in Gillham, Arkansas.

He was born on July 18, 1937, to Delbert and Irene Cooper Wax in Gillham in what would become Wax General Store.  He was the owner and operator of many different businesses over the years but enjoyed raising cattle more than any other work he had done.  He was a member of Gillham First Baptist Church and was a Mason. Mr. Wax was also a U.S. Army veteran and told many stories of work as a Medic during his service.

Mr. Wax was a kind, loving and generous man.  He loved the Lord and often shared his testimony of his salvation.  He was an avid sports fan and loved the Razorbacks.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Penny Wax; one son, Kevin Wax; a sister, Linda Kay Wax Patterson and a granddaughter, Jessica Irene Wax.

Mr. Wax is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Sharon Wax; one grandson, Garrett Wax, all of Gillham; one step-son, Danny Cunningham; two brothers, Bill Wax and Delbert Wax, Jr.; one sister, Susan Byrd along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Wax will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 19, 2017, in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Taylor officiating.  Burial will follow in the Gillham Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Saturday, November 18th at the funeral home.
